Keil PK51 with extended Infineon XC800 Support
Keil extends the C51 product line with support for the Infineon
XC82x and XC83x series. The XC82x and XC83x series expands Infineon's
8-bit XC800 microcontroller family to provide more scalable
performance for cost-sensitive automotive applications. The devices
integrate a capacitive touch sense control interface, RTC, 10-bit
ADC, Window Watchdog Timer, and a Compare/Capture Unit for any kind
of motor control. The µVision IDE directly interfaces to
Infineon
DAvE for seamless device configuration.
The XC82x and XC83x series features a single pin DAP (Debug Access
Port) that connects to µVision using the Infineon miniWiggler.
The µVision
IDE/Debugger supports Program Debugging and Flash Programming
including the Boot Mode Index (BMI). All device features can be
programmed and tested in a single environnment which eliminates the
need for external tools or utilities.
"The Keil C51 Professional Developer's Kit is one of the
industry's most popular compiler solutions for 8051-based
microcontrollers. The latest version produces very high code quality
for the Infineon XC82x and XC83x series," said Jürgen Hoika,
Director of Marketing, Microcontrollers at Infineon. "With its
µVision IDE, Keil also provides complete support and a direct
interface to work with the Infineon development tools DAvE and
miniWiggler which features an innovative single-pin debug interface
DAP."
