Keil support Samsung S3FM02G

Cambridge, UK: Keil^™ announce support for the Samsung S3FM02G Microcontroller in the Keil MDK-ARM (Microcontroller Development Kit).

The new device is based on the ARM^® Cortex^™-M3 processor and features 384KB program Flash, 16KB data Flash, and 24KB of SRAM. The S3FM02G is targeted at home appliance applications offering a dual channel 6-phase inverter motor controller (IMC) and a 40 segment LCD controller.

MDK-ARM

The forthcoming v4.20 release of MDK-ARM will support the S3FM02G device and includes CMSIS compliant device files and ready to use example projects targeted to the Samsung development board (S3FM02G_MBD). MDK features the industry-standard compiler from ARM, the Keil µVision4 IDE/Debugger, and the deterministic RTX Real-Time Operating system. It is specifically optimized for single-chip, high performance devices such as the S3FM02G.

Availability

MDK-ARM v4.20 will be available during March 2011.
