MDK-Professional Released

Cambridge, UK: ARM announces the release of the Keil MDK-ARM Professional Edition. This latest edition incorporates the Keil Middleware components within the industry leading MDK-ARM software development tools.

MDK-Professional builds on the successful MDK-ARM development kit which features the industry-standard compiler from ARM, the Keil uVision4 IDE/Debugger, and analysis tools. MDK-Professional adds the Keil TCP/IP networking suite, USB, File System, and CAN drivers. Enhancements to the middleware libraries include USB Host stack supporting HID and MSC device classes, File System support for NAND Flash devices, and RTX Source code.

With the introduction of MDK-Professional, MDK-ARM is available in four editions: MDK-Lite, MDK-Basic, MDK-Standard, and MDK-Professional.

Availability

MDK-Professional is part of the MDK-ARM v4.20 release which is available now through Keil's direct and distribution channels. As an introductory promotion, all shipments of MDK-Professional made before 30th September, 2011, will include a ULINKpro debug and trace adapter at no extra cost.
