Keil Supports the New Holtek HT32F1251x Family

Cambridge, UK: Keil^™announces immediate support for the Holtek HT32F125x family in the Keil MDK-ARM.

The HT32F125x family, of the ARM^® Cortex^™-M3-based devices, are supplied in 48-pin LQFP package type with up to 32 GPIO pins. The family consist of 8KB – 32KB of Flash Program Memory, 2KB – 8KB of SRAM Data Memory together with an 8-channel 12-bit 1Msp high speed A/D converter and multiple General Purpose Timer Modules. The devices include multiple power management modes, a power-on-reset (POR), Programmable Low Voltage Detector (LVD), and brownout detection (BOD). Additional functions include fully integrated real time clock, operational amplifiers and comparators, USART interface, SPI interface, I2C interface.

Application areas for this new range of devices could include medical products, computer peripherals, home appliances, personal health care products and portable devices etc.

MDK-ARM

The latest version of MDK-ARM supports the Holtek device family. It includes Holtek set-up files, flash programming support, device-specific views, and compilation support.

MDK features the industry-standard compiler from ARM, the Keil µVision^®4 IDE/debugger,the full featured RTX RTOS, and sophisticated analysis tools. It is specifically optimized for single-chip, high performance devices such as the Holtek MCU, of the Cortex-M3 family, and analysis tools as well as target debugging with advanced trace capabilities for all Cortex-M processor-based devices.
