Keil introduces MDK-ARM Atmel Edition

Keil^™ MDK-ARM^™ increases its appeal for users of the Atmel SAM device families with the introduction of a low-cost, Atmel only version of MDK-ARM.

MDK-ARM Atmel Edition supports all SAM3, SAM4, SAM7 and SAM9 devices and includes setup files, device specific views and project templates. Most Atmel evaluation kits are supported out of the box with ready to run examples.

MDK-ARM Atmel features the industry-standard ARM C/C++ compiler, the Keil µVision^® IDE and Debugger, and sophisticated analysis tools. It provides users with a low-cost entry to developing with Atmel SAM devices with an easy-to-use tool without sacrificing functionality.

This edition of MDK-ARM is ideally suited for users of Atmel Studio who want to make use of high performance and high code density of the ARM Compiler. Together with a free add-on from the Atmel Gallery, the Compiler from MDK can be seamlessly embedded in Atmel's tool.
