Keil MDK-ARM integrates with the wolfSSL CyaSSL

What

ARM® Keil® MDK-ARM^™now integrates with the wolfSSL CyaSSL embedded SSL library. wolfSSL, a leading provider of cryptography solutions for embedded systems, have extended the proven CyaSSL product to make it available as a Software Pack in the Keil MDK-ARM version 5.

Keil MDK Version 5 is the ARM® software development environment for microcontrollers based on ARM Cortex®-M series processors and introduces Software Packs, a new concept for managing software components. CyaSSL is the first third party software component that is available as a Software Pack.

The CyaSSL Software Pack contains the embedded SSL library, a lightweight, portable, C-language-based SSL/TLS middleware suite targeted at embedded and RTOS environments primarily because of its size, speed, and feature set. This powerful SSL library integrates seamless into the networking suite of MDK Professional and enables secure communication protocols like HTTPS. The combination of the MDK networking suite with the CyaSSL library provides proven in use software components for encrypted communication and is applicable to a wide range of microcontroller applications.

This successful cooperation of ARM and wolfSSL shows the flexibility of the new Software Pack concept that is available with MDK Version 5 and its viability for third party companies.

The CyaSSL Software Pack is available immediately. It can be downloaded directly from http://www.wolfSSL.com using the Pack Installer of MDK Version 5. wolfSSL Inc. provides CyaSSL under open source and commercial licenses.
