µVISION DEBUGGER: Memory Window Addresses

Information in this article applies to:

  • µVision Version 2.12

QUESTION

Is there a command I can enter from the Command Window to select the memory spaces displayed in the four tabs of the Memory Window?

µVision doesn't seem to save my settings between debug sessions and I must re-enter these each time I start the debugger.

ANSWER

No. There is no command that you can type to set the contents of the memory window.

However, µVision SHOULD be saving the address specified so you should only have to enter them the first debug session. To check your debugger settings:

  • Open the project options dialog.
  • Click on the Debug tab.
  • Make sure that Restore Debug Session Settings - Memory Display is checked.

That should do it.
