µVISION DEBUGGER: MON51 Configured for I2C Communication

QUESTION

The current version of my Keil PK51 has a serial Monitor debugger. Is it possible to configure the MON51 as a Philips IIC (I2C) communicating debugger?

ANSWER

Yes, the INSTALL.A51 that configures the MON51 is function-based so that the customer may modify the receive character and send character functions for Philips IIC communications protocol.

Currently Keil does not have a preconfigured IIC monitor.
