µVISION DEBUGGER: C51: Get Target DLL Error Using J-Link EFM8 Driver

SYMPTOM

Starting a debug session to an EFM8 evaluation board using the J-Link EFM8 driver returns a Target DLL Error.

CAUSE

The J-Link software has not been installed on your computer. The J-Link EFM8 target driver depends on full J-Link software installation.

RESOLUTION

Download and install the J-Link software using the link in the More Information section below. After the J-Link installation finishes, the J-Link EFM8 Driver should connect, download and debug the EFM8 board using the J-Link EFM8 driver.
