| Description | The NOTYPE directive excludes type information for debug symbols from the output object file. Symbol type information is used by emulators or the µVision Debugger to display correctly formatted symbol information. The Keil compiler generates complete symbol information including structure members and parameter passing values. Symbol type information is required only for program debugging and has no influence on the executable code. |
