Pre-Download Scripts
Some applications or target systems require that you execute certain Debug Commands or Debug Functions immediately prior to Flash programming. When using the ULINK USB-JTAG Adapter, µVision3 allows you to create and execute a script or initialization file containing debugger commands and functions prior to Flash programming.
The initialization file may be entered under Project — Options — Utilities — Init File.
Typically, an initialization file is used to:
- Write memory or registers that setup the BUS configuration required for accessing the Flash ROM.
- Load program objects that must be programmed in addition to the user application.
