View Menu

The View Menu includes commands to show/hide a variety of windows. The option Periodic Window Update is useful in Debug Mode to force the windows to refresh periodically.

View Menu	Toolbar	Shortcut	Description
Status Bar			Shows or hides the Status Bar.
Toolbars			Shows or hides toolbars. The File Toolbar is always available. The Build Toolbar and Debug Toolbar are available only in their respective mode.
Project Window			Shows or hides the Project window.
Books Window			Shows or hides the Books window.
Functions Window			Shows or hides the Functions window.
Templates Window			Shows or hides the Templates window.
Source Browser Window			Shows or hides the Browser window.
Build Output Window			Shows or hides the Build Output window.
Find in Files Window			Shows or hides the Find in Files window.
Additional Items in Debug Mode
Command Window			Shows or hides the Command window.
Disassembly Window			Shows or hides the Disassembly window.
Symbols Window			Shows or hides the Symbol window.
Registers Window			Shows or hides the Register window.
Call Stack Window			Shows or hides the Call Stack window.
Watch Windows			Opens a sub-menu with access to the Watch and Locals window.
Memory Windows			Opens a sub-menu with access to Memory windows.
Serial Windows			Opens a sub-menu with access to serial windows UART #1 .. UART#3 and the Debug (printf) Viewer.
Analysis Windows			Opens a sub-menu accessing the Logic Analyser, Performance Analyser, and Code Coverage window.
Trace			Opens a sub-menu with access to instruction history windows. Enable/disable trace recording from here.
System Viewer			Shows or hides Peripheral windows.
Toolbox Window			Shows or hides the Toolbox.
Periodic Window Update			Enables µVision to periodically update the window contents. If this option has not been set, update the windows manually using the Toolbox.
