Differences between µVision and C
There are a number of differences between expressions in µVision and expressions in the C programming language:
- µVision does not differentiate between uppercase and lowercase characters for symbolic names and command names.
- µVision does not support converting an expression to a typed pointer like char * or int *. Pointer types are obtained from the symbol information in the target program. They cannot be created.
- Target functions cannot be invoked from the command line.
- µVision does not support structure assignments.
